Greetings to all you LCSers!! I hope that all has gone well with your summer activities, that you're in great voice, and that you're itching to get started again.
We have a fine season ahead, so here's a summary of events to get started with: Saturday, Aug. 29 11:00 am- c. 1:30pm Kick-off Party, All Sts Church., snacks and drinks provided. Please come, share the good times and catch the excitement. Monday, Aug. 31 Evening Auditions for new singers [no current singers need come] Monday, Sept. 7 " Auditions for new singers Monday, Sept. 14 7:00 pm Rehearsals begin!! Mozart Solemn Vespers (WOW!) and a couple of other shorter pieces with orchestra. The Mozart was one of our favorite programs several years ago and it's time to experience it again. Saturday, Nov. 14 10:00am-noon Rehearsal with orchestra, Branscomb Auditorium, FSC Sunday, Nov. 15 3:00 pm CONCERT with FSC Children's Choir, Girls Choir, orchestra Sunday, March 20 3:00 p.m. CONCERT, All Sts. Church Tuesday, April 19 7:30 pm CONCERT, Beethoven 9th Sym., with ISO, choirs of FSC and SEU As always, we encourage your participation and commitment. The success of our ensemble depends on the contribution of our talented singers, and we hope you're on board. If you know of ways that we can include more people from our area, or simply increase our outreach, please help. If you want to invite someone, have them email [email protected] and someone will schedule them for one of the audition evenings. You're our best recruitment tool.
